After 5-6 weeks of not being able to have in-person sessions with clients, I’m now happy to announce that in-person and face to face sessions are back on in Surry Hills and the Sydney CBD from May! Unfortunately this will not be the case in Wollongong for the time being but watch this space as things can change very quickly!

Some tips to help you navigate these times
I stand by what I wrote about last time in terms of there being a lot of fear around the globe in relation to the Corona virus. The biggest positive I can see through all of this is that we are NOT alone. It shows that no matter where we live, what race we are, what gender we are, etc – we are ALL going through the same thing. No one is exempt from this. To me, it brings me hope that we might finally be able to live in a world of peace, where there is no “me” vs “them” but US, where those in power make decisions for the benefit for all of us as opposed to their own political gain.

The recent hype over the last couple of months regarding the Corona Virus has caused, amongst other things, a lot of panic around the world and led to a drastic measures in some countries – from travel bans, quarantining and quite recently, in Japan’s case, ending the school term early by a month. Not only this, in Australia, we have been inundated with a lot of natural “disasters”… from drought, bush fires and floods. This no doubt adds to the anxiety and tension in the air!

Many of you will know of the quote “your thoughts create your reality“, and so the way that you perceive your environment and world is directly shaped by your own thought patterns and beliefs. For example, you know when you’re walking down the street or you’re in your office, and as you are walking of sitting there, you notice someone looking directly at you. People who lack confidence in themselves may immediately think that there was something wrong with them which caused that person to stare at them – is there something on my face or are they judging what I’m wearing? what the heck are you doing staring at me?. Those who hare more confident in themselves may react in a way to be flattered by the seeming “attention” and just not care about the “look” because to them, it means nothing. In all of those situations, how a person reacts…
