#empaths and #intuition⁠

In this video, I chat about my personal view on the whole concept of #empaths (labelling yourself as one) and briefly talk about intuition, what it is and how it might come through.⁠
⁠
This might be a bit controversial as I do call out those who use the "empath" label to make them feel a bit special, as it is my belief that we ALL are empaths and intuitives.. it's just that the level at which we tune into these abilities is different from person to person. ⁠
⁠
It is also my belief that we ALL are special are unique - placing a label on things may help in the beginning but feeling like you have to do certain things to fall into a particular category to conform is a type of pressure you really don't need! Just BE who you are and if you fall into various "labels" and "categories", then so be it! It's not about conforming, it's about leading the way!⁠

#surrender and #flow⁠

It's been a while since I've posted on here so I hope you've been well!⁠
⁠
I don't know about you but the past 2 weeks I've been feeling really tired and felt like there was no flow in my life - things just came to a quick halt. As a business owner, you are always trying to do things to build your business and execute a strategy and when things don't necessarily go your way (i.e. go as quickly as you'd like it to), you can become disheartened.⁠
⁠
What I've learnt is that life is comprised of many cycles. Sometimes it's up, other times it's down, sometimes it flows, sometimes it doesn't. And you know what? The main thing we have to do is just be present and ride through it as things are always happening (or not happening) for a particular reason - more often than not the reasons are something that our human brains can't comprehend because we don't have the same "perspective" as the greater Universe who's pretty much orchestrating everything.⁠
⁠
So over the past week or so, I've just honored where I'm at. I'm tired, so I don't force myself to get up in the morning to do yoga but just stay in bed and get up when I'm ready to. I'm not motivated to work on a new product offering so I don't. I'm not that busy at work so I take the time out to go and connect with nature, whether it's flowers, the beach, etc. I'm also reminded that we are in Mercury Retrograde, so it's no wonder things have come to a grinding halt and it is a great time to just reflect on things and recharge.⁠
⁠
And for me, guess what? All of a sudden, I've felt the urge to get things moving again. Things are just flowing and it feels good.⁠
⁠
So the moral to the story is, if things are slow for you or if you're feeling tired - there's a reason for it even though you may not understand. Just go with it - take your time, don't force things, and rest. There will be a time (the right time) when things will pick up again and you can be up and running!⁠
