I’m sure many of us will be very keen to welcome 2021 given the events of 2020. One of the major lessons regarding 2020 was to show us certain aspects of our life (and society in general) that probably were not working as well as we thought it was, and gave us an opportunity to reflect and make a certain change (within Governmental restrictions of course).

Untangling the parental effect

For the majority of my life (at least 32 years or so), I lived a life that I thought I wanted. It was only when I started to feel unhappy about my life and question why I felt like that, that I began to realise that the life that I thought I wanted was actually a life that my parents had painted for me instead of me actually figuring out who I was.
