Morning Gratitude Meditation for Abundance: Start Your Day with Flow and Ease

Morning Gratitude Meditation for Abundance

This month, I want to move away from the physical aspects of wellness and dive into something a little more esoteric: the spiritual power of gratitude—especially when practiced as a morning meditation.

Many of us unintentionally focus on what’s not working in our lives. We dwell on not having enough money, feeling stressed, disliking our appearance, or struggling with work. These thoughts become our daily soundtrack. And according to the law of attraction—energy flows where attention goes—we’re only reinforcing those unwanted outcomes.

I’ve been there too. I knew about the practice of gratitude. I even tried it. I’d celebrate a win like landing a new client, but within hours I’d be back in a mindset of lack, obsessing over what I didn’t have. I tried journaling. I tried gratitude lists before bed. Nothing seemed to stick.

Everything changed when I started a daily morning gratitude meditation.

It began with a 30-day guided meditation practice with my shamanic teacher, followed by a 9-day abundance journey. Through this, I began to embody gratitude—not just think it, but feel it deeply. The shift was subtle at first: I became more aware of what I already had, and when something good happened, I let myself truly feel grateful.

But the real transformation came when I changed when I practiced gratitude. Instead of ending the day with a recap, I began my day with a simple gratitude visualization meditation—lying in bed, eyes closed, imagining my ideal day and how it would feel.

That one small change made a massive impact. I would imagine a day where things flowed with ease—support at work, happy clients, no stress—and I anchored in the emotional state of how that would feel. Peaceful. Grateful. Expansive.

And here’s what happened:

It created a snowball effect. The more I practiced this morning gratitude meditation, the more aligned and abundant my life felt.

I’m not saying this is the only way to practice gratitude—but if journaling or bedtime reflections haven’t worked for you, try this instead:

Simple Morning Gratitude Meditation for Abundance:

  1. Before you get out of bed, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

  2. Visualize your ideal day—how it flows, what unfolds, who supports you.

  3. Anchor into the feelings—joy, ease, confidence, support, abundance.

  4. Let yourself bask in that energy for a few minutes before rising.

This 5-minute practice sets the tone for your entire day. And when something good does happen? Pause. Acknowledge it. Feel grateful. And know it’s just the beginning.

Gratitude is more than a habit—it’s a vibration. When you tune into it first thing in the morning, you align yourself with the energy of abundance, ease, and miracles.

Try this for a few days and let me know how it shifts your life. I’d love to hear your experiences.
